  • Although I can speak, write and understand spanish at a basic level, my primary ghostwriting language is English. I work particularly well with clients in Spain who want to develop a book for an English-speaking or international readership. Projects that include Spanish-language interviews or source material can be discussed individually depending on their requirements.

  • No. Most projects are completed through a combination of Zoom interviews, shared documents, email, and other collaborative tools. However, because I am based in Valencia for part of the year, local clients can arrange in-person meetings by appointment.

  • Yes. Your expertise and story matter more than whether you consider yourself an English-language writer. Part of my role is to understand what you want to communicate and develop it into polished, natural English while preserving your personality, perspective, and voice. However, if you’re a Spanish or French speaker, I have a basic understanding of both languages so conversing shouldn’t be a problem.

  • The cost depends on the length and complexity of the book, the amount of interviewing and research required, the condition of any existing material, and the level of writing and editorial support involved. After an initial conversation, I can prepare a proposal outlining the recommended scope, timeline, deliverables, and fee. That said, typically, my rate starts at €15,000 for a full-length memoir, i.e., 60,000 words or more.

  • Yes. I can help you evaluate the most appropriate publishing route for your project, including traditional publishing, assisted or hybrid publishing, and self-publishing, as well as connect the manuscript with my industry partners and appropriate publishing professionals and services as needed.

  • Yes. Many clients come to me with partial manuscripts, unfinished drafts, transcripts, voice recordings, or other material. I can review what exists and recommend whether the project needs restructuring, developmental editing, rewriting, additional interviews, or full ghostwriting support.
